I hope she does get saved. However, her interior is gutted and AFAIK there isn't much if anything left of it to even restore. Someone show me any sort of financial plan for saving her that doesn't...

She would have to double as a hotel and restaurant.  That's the only way to get people and $ aboard.

Exactly. The six fast battleships all look the same. All are worthy of saving, but Texas is unique. The last dreadnaught deserves a better fate than she has received. I hope permanently drydocking her...

I think there is plenty of room next to the USS Wisconsin to dock the Olympia after a complete over haul. I think both the Texas and Olympia are worth saving, both from by gone areas that we only read...

Doesn't the State of New Jersey have to maintane BB62 is a certain state of maintenance, per agreement with the USN for donating her to them? I seem to remember that is a requirement for all museum...
